Over 40 years ago a wonderful man named Michael J. Schmitz started an Awards and Engraving business out of his house. He messed up the engraving on his very first order, so Michael completely re-polished the brass and re-engraved each piece (by hand back then). He sent it to the customer with an apology letter, saying there is no charge for this order. This was the start of the extremely high production standard that Michael set for Award Masters Inc. and the sister Company AAA Manufacturing and Supply Company of America. This standard still holds true today and will remain an integral part of how we do business. Your order will be absolutely 100% just like you ordered it or we will redo it for FREE. Usually we can re-do it immediately.
Michael implemented many business philosophies over the years but one stands above the rest. And here it is… (sfx: drum roll) “Not a Problem” (sfx: cymbal). That’s it!! It’s so simple…it’s accommodating, it’s customer focused! The answer (96.4% of the time) is “Not a Problem”! Of course, there will always be that one special custom piece that is beyond our abilities. Those are rare as we can usually find a way…thus the answer Not a Problem!
Michael is now enjoying the retired luxuries of life, but every now and then he’ll stop in town just to see if we are holding up his standards. I have vowed to never let him down.
